IT Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IT Security Engineer to manage risk assessments and develop security policies while ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

• Process alerts, handle system failures, and document events for resolution
• Develop and maintain security based on best practices and technical development in IT Security systems
• Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for IT Security support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, or a related field
• 2 years of experience in Information Security Audit, Identity Management, or Architecture
• Experience in CISSP Common Body of Knowledge areas including Access Control, Cryptography, and Network Security
• Knowledge of information security concepts in various areas such as digital forensics, incident response, and vulnerability management
• Technical certifications including Okta Certified Professional and Fortinet Network Security Associate (NSE2)
