Java Consultant for RHEL

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Java RHEL Consultant to address Java upgrade compatibility issues in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux server environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve Java compatibility issues arising from upgrades in the Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment
• Enhance and maintain Java, C/C++, and asp.net/C# interfaces for the HiCAMS application
• Analyze, design, code, and test bug fixes and functional enhancements to the system and its interfaces

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of significant development experience in Java, specifically with library and compatibility issues in Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• 10+ years of strong SQL skills, applicable across various database platforms
• 5+ years of experience working in a remote software development environment
• 10+ years of strong analytical, conceptual, and technical skills
• 10+ years of positive interpersonal skills and a self-motivated work ethic
