K-5 ELA Assessment Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Assessment and Activity Designer, ELA K-5 (Contract).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review assessment and activity content, including auto-scored items and game-based tasks
• Source engaging texts for assessment purposes and refine existing content development processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design reports of student progress and iterate on assessments and activities

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of teaching or instructional/curriculum/assessment design experience
• Bachelor's Degree in an Education-related field with an emphasis on literacy
• Experience in writing assessment items that measure early literacy and comprehension skills
• Familiarity with digital assessment design and delivery
• Broad understanding of the K-5 educational landscape, including state standards and formative assessment models
