Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients and manage a high volume of incoming calls, providing accurate information and scheduling appointments
- Collect and update patient demographics and insurance information, and assist with referrals and authorizations
- Ensure effective patient experiences by focusing on first contact resolution and maintaining professionalism in all interactions
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate, GED, or equivalent
- Experience with computer systems, including web-based applications
- Preferred: 1 year experience in a patient-focused healthcare environment or high-volume multichannel contact center
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic environment
- Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to safety standards
