Lead Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Accountant, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and maintenance of accurate financial information for the general ledger and financial statements
• Lead and mentor staff while driving key accounting projects and ensuring alignment with financial operations
• Prepare tax returns, financial reports, and implement audit recommendations in a timely manner

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or Finance
• Minimum five (5) to seven (7) years of relevant experience
• CPA and healthcare exposure preferred, but not required
• Treasury accounting experience preferred, but not required
• Experience with various computer accounting systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
