Licensed Legal Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Legal and Compliance Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a legal advisor on commercial matters, including contract negotiations and strategic alliances
• Manage third-party audits and certification attainment in partnership with information security
• Develop and refine commercial counseling and contracting functions alongside Sales and Business Development teams

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state
• 2-6 years of combined legal experience at a law firm, in-house, or other relevant roles
• Prior experience providing legal advice on regulatory and compliance matters
• Strong working knowledge of SaaS licensing, data integrations, and technology transactions
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a solution-oriented ethos
