Job Summary

A company is looking for a Psychologist Peer Review Utilization Management professional to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and determine coverage for outpatient treatment requests, including extended sessions and non-standard services
• Participate in peer consultations and staff meetings while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local guidelines
• Assess ongoing outpatient care and manage appeals for previously denied services

Required Qualifications

• Licensed doctoral level (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) Psychologist in the state of residence
• Current unrestricted license allowing for full independent practice
• 3+ years of post-licensure experience
• Experience with insurance agencies for authorizations and peer reviews
• Proficient computer skills, including Windows OS, Outlook, Word, and Excel
