Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Manager, Stop Loss Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with stop loss carriers, MGUs, and the internal Sales organization
- Establish metrics to track sales and account retention activity while managing a team responsible for stop loss evaluations and negotiations
- Engage with clients and brokers to educate them on solutions and facilitate the stop loss quoting process
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred; extensive relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- 10+ years of experience in stop loss sales and/or underwriting
- Highly developed knowledge of healthcare payers and medical service providers
- In-depth knowledge of medical stop loss products
- Experience managing teams of professionals or consultants strongly preferred
