Linux Engineer with Security+ License

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Linux Engineer to provide expert-level administration and operational support for Linux-based systems in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, patch, and maintain Linux servers in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments
• Design and implement cloud-native Linux solutions and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts
• Respond to system incidents, perform troubleshooting, and ensure compliance with security standards

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• U.S. Citizenship and an active DoD Secret Clearance
• Active Security+ CE (or equivalent) certification
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Linux system administration, including cloud environments
• Experience with scripting and automation tools such as Bash, Python, Ansible, and Terraform
• Knowledge of security standards aligned with DoD, NIST, and FedRAMP requirements
