Mainframe z/OS Systems Programmer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Mainframe z/OS Systems Programmer.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform advanced systems administration for mainframe applications and infrastructure, including configuration and break/fix support
• Oversee mainframe operations, coordinate with various IT teams, and support data entry and control processes
• Provide technical support for z/OS operating systems, including planning, implementation, and testing of system changes

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with z/OS Systems Programming
• 5 years of experience with JES2, z/OS Unix System Services (OMVS), and Storage Management Subsystem (SMS)
• 3 years of experience with TSS (Top Secret Security) and performance monitoring
• 2 years of experience with REXX
• Preferred experience with Informatica Power Exchange Administration and various z/OS-related tools and technologies
