A company is looking for an Underwriting Manager (Medical Insurance).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage workflow and priorities of the underwriting unit for timely and accurate deliverables
- Provide coaching and mentorship to underwriters, overseeing training and quality reviews
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support sales and retention efforts, presenting underwriting information as needed
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in underwriting/accounting pricing methodologies
- 2 to 3 years of relevant medical insurance experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor team members
- Proficiency in Excel, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
