Medicare Billing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medicare Biller for EMS Services, working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on claims pending at Medicare, addressing denials and incorrect payments
• Review and resolve issues causing claims to be on hold
• Provide additional information to Medicare for claim processing and handle correspondence as needed

Required Qualifications

• Strong computer skills with a basic understanding of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
• Experience in a performance-driven environment with monitored calls is preferred
• Able to manage large volumes of work and meet tight deadlines
• Experience in handling correspondence and refunds related to claims
