Michigan Licensed Triage Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Part-Time Triage Specialist to perform effective telephone triage to support dermatology patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer phones and return voicemails to address questions and transfer calls as necessary
• Relay pathology results, schedule new patients, and document all conversations in EMA
• Prioritize skin cancers and explain Mohs procedures to patients, completing pre-op assessments as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Medical Assistant
• CCMA/RMA Certification preferred
• Experience with medical terminology, surgical procedures, and patient scheduling
