Mortgage Correspondent Operations Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Correspondent Operations Manager to enhance and streamline operational functions within the correspondent lending arena.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations of the correspondent lending channel, including loan delivery and post-closing activities
• Serve as the main operational liaison for correspondent lenders, managing escalations and fostering business relationships
• Collaborate with compliance and quality control teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards and optimize processes

Required Qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience in mortgage banking operations, with at least 3 years in correspondent lending or investor relations
• In-depth knowledge of agency guidelines and correspondent lending requirements
• Expertise in loan purchasing, delivery, and post-closing procedures
• Proficiency in utilizing mortgage LOS platforms and secondary delivery systems
• Strong aptitude for relationship management
