Nevada Business Analyst

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Business Analyst Staff who will perform moderate to complex tasks within a claims platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Interface with system architects and corporate staff on benefit and contract updates
• Support resolution of issues related to system projects
• Contribute to quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts

Required Qualifications

• 5-8 years of claims processing or system set-up experience, preferably in managed care
• High School Diploma or GED required; some college preferred
• General knowledge of provider contracts, fee schedules, and payment methodologies
• Knowledge of health plan benefit interpretation and compliance legislation
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Excel and Word
