Job Summary
A company is looking for a PAP Specialist who will manage patient equipment and documentation related to Positive Airway Pressure devices.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments for customers to pick up PAP equipment and provide usage instructions
- Prepare and submit audit paperwork for insurance claims to ensure compliance with healthcare guidelines
- Monitor client compliance with PAP equipment and communicate effectively with referral sources
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One year of experience in healthcare administrative roles, customer service, or insurance-related fields
- Two years of experience required for senior-level positions, including one year in a similar role
- Experience in a Medicare certified HME, Diabetic, Pharmacy, or home medical supplies environment is preferred
