Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Access Specialist III Schedistrar.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule outpatient procedures and manage requests from patients and physician offices
• Collect, verify, and input patient, guarantor, and insurance information into the health information system
• Provide visit-specific information and address patient inquiries while triaging requests effectively

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma (HSD) or General Educational Diploma (GED)
• Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience in Patient Access Services or related fields
• Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) certification required within 120 days of employment
• Bachelor's degree may substitute for experience; Associate degree preferred but not required
• 2 years of related experience in a healthcare setting, including financial counseling or preservice operations tasks
