Patient Care Assistant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Care Assistant I.

Key Responsibilities

• Accept inbound calls from patients, prescribers, or health professionals to support specialty pharmacy functions
• Make outbound calls to patients to establish shipment criteria and gather necessary information
• Utilize operating systems to manage patient therapy and refill compliance, triaging calls as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent GED is strongly preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of customer service experience preferred
• Experience in a pharmacy or healthcare environment preferred
• Participation in compliance program objectives is expected
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
