A company is looking for a Patient Engagement Center Advocate.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming phone calls and schedule patient appointments in the EMR system
- Document patient requests and maintain knowledge of site protocols and physician schedules
- Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily call production goals
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- High School diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in a call center, customer service, medical office, or as a receptionist
- Previous medical office experience preferred; optometric or ophthalmic experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
