Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Engagement Center Advocate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming phone calls and schedule patient appointments in the EMR system
  • Document patient requests and maintain knowledge of site protocols and physician schedules
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily call production goals
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1+ years of experience in a call center, customer service, medical office, or as a receptionist
  • Previous medical office experience preferred; optometric or ophthalmic experience strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including HIPAA guidelines
