Remote Medi-Cal Insurance Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote Insurance Follow-up Representative with Strong Medi-Cal Experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up with insurance carriers to resolve denied claims for payment
• Process claims, payments, adjustments, refunds, and unpaid insurance balances
• Analyze unpaid claims and denials to identify reasons for nonpayment and necessary actions

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; AA+ preferred
• Strong Medi-Cal experience required
• 3-5 years of insurance follow-up experience in a hospital or physician's office setting
• Experience with filing UB-04 and HCFA 1500 claim forms required
• Familiarity with software such as SSI, IDX/Centricity, Epic, FastTrack, Meditech, and Cerner preferred
