Job Summary

A company is looking for a Patient Service Specialist in the Admitting/Access department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with patients, payers, and providers for accurate registration and check-in processes
  • Manage customer billing inquiries and route messages within the department
  • Assist patients with eligibility, payment arrangements, and financial assistance information


Required Qualifications
  • Proficiency in computer applications and excellent mathematical skills
  • 2 years of experience in customer service or healthcare/medical office environment preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and health insurance billing guidelines preferred
  • Able to adapt, prioritize, and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
