Job Summary
A company is looking for a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing and compliance across multiple regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Process payroll for U.S., Canada, and Australia, ensuring accurate wage calculations and compliance with tax regulations
- Administer HRIS systems and manage employee onboarding, terminations, and payroll deductions
- Support reporting and audits by generating payroll reports and assisting with financial entries
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Payroll Administration or a related field (equivalent experience accepted)
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a payroll-related role preferred
- Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax laws (U.S. and international)
- Experience with payroll software, especially BambooHR, Xero, and Nethris, is a plus
- Understanding of year-end processes related to payroll and tax compliance
