Job Summary

A company is looking for a Manager of Professional Coding (medical coding) to work from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct professional coding service initiatives to ensure efficient operations
• Provide feedback and training to coding staff, and manage performance appraisals
• Analyze workflows and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) required
• Minimum of 5 years of managerial/supervisory experience required
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience required
• Certified Professional Coder (AAPC) certification required
• Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (AAPC) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification preferred
