Principal Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Principal Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate financial processes, ensuring accurate financial transactions and reporting
• Prepare comprehensive financial reporting packages and analyze financial data for management decision-making
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff while overseeing their work quality

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Six years of accounting-related experience, including three years in a senior or training capacity
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
• Proficiency in spreadsheet applications and accounting systems
• CPA designation or progress toward completion preferred
