Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Lead Counsel, Product & IP.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal support throughout the product lifecycle, including development and launch of SaaS offerings
• Advise teams on open source software use, licensing obligations, and intellectual property risks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with data privacy and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 7+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, focusing on product counseling and open source software licensing
• Deep understanding of open source licensing models and their implications for SaaS products
• Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and their application to SaaS products
