Product and Privacy Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Product & Privacy Counsel for a 3-month contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overhaul of product-specific terms through deep dives with internal teams and drafting comprehensive terms
• Integrate privacy requirements into product terms and develop a foundational data governance framework
• Draft privacy playbooks and critical privacy notices to ensure compliance with internal policies and product requirements

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school and a member in good standing of at least one state bar
• 8+ years of legal experience with a strong background in product counseling and data privacy in a B2B SaaS or technology company
• Experience as a lead product counsel with expertise in translating technology into clear contract terms
• Deep knowledge of global privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA/CPRA) and privacy-by-design principles
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality legal work under tight deadlines
