Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated, creative, and detail-oriented Public Relations & Social Media Marketing Manager to join our growing brand. This hybrid role will own our public relations strategy while managing and executing our social media presence across key platforms. The ideal candidate is passionate about storytelling, beauty, community building, and content creation.

Social Media Responsibilities
• Own and execute the social media content roadmap across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Google, and others).
• Define, evolve, and maintain the brand’s social voice and positioning.
• Monitor trends and identify emerging platforms and content formats to test.
• Create and publish original content (text, image, and video) using tools like Canva, CapCut, and native platform editors.
• Assist in and coordinate social media giveaways.
• Write compelling captions, select trending sounds, and utilize native tools to schedule and post content.
• Capture and publish UGC, behind-the-scenes footage, and trend-based content quickly and creatively.
• Actively engage with followers: reply to comments, DMs, and tags with on-brand, timely responses.
• Build genuine, two-way relationships with the online community.
• Track and report performance metrics, adjusting strategies and content based on insights.
• Create and manage a paid social media budget.
• Provide monthly reports with actionable insights and data-driven recommendations.

Public Relations Responsibilities
• Build and execute a strategic PR plan to increase brand visibility and awareness.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with national, regional, and niche media outlets.
• Draft, pitch, and place compelling press releases to promote key brand moments.
• Serve as a spokesperson for the brand as needed, ensuring consistent messaging.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Business, or a related field preferred (open to all majors).
• 1+ year of experience in social media marketing (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter/X, TikTok) for a brand or business.
• Familiarity with Canva, Illustrator, and Photoshop (basic knowledge preferred).
• A keen interest in the beauty industry and content creation.
• Strong creative instincts with a high attention to detail and organization.
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership.

Pay: $30.00 per hour
