QA Automation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a QA/Automation Engineer to support the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, recommend, and implement automated test tools and strategies
• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web, API, and backend services
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable releases

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 3+ years of software testing experience with at least 2 years in test automation
• Proficiency in automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, TestNG)
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
• Hands-on experience using JIRA for defect tracking and test case management
