Job Summary

A company is looking for a Facility Coding Inpatient Complex Coder.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze medical information and accurately code diagnostic and procedural information
• Abstract clinical diagnoses and procedure codes, ensuring complete and accurate records
• Provide coding quality assurance and compliance with coding regulations and standards

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent training in medical record keeping
• Active certification as CCS, COC, CPC, RHIT, or RHIA
• Three or more years of inpatient coding experience in an acute care facility
• Knowledge of ICD CM and PCS coding principles
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting using coding software and office programs
