A company is looking for a NOVA Admissions Coordinator, responsible for insurance notification, verification, and authorization activities to secure patient accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform insurance notification, verification, and authorization activities for patient accounts
- Coordinate with insurance companies and clinical staff to secure scheduled and non-scheduled accounts
- Document account information thoroughly according to established standards
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years of experience in patient access, billing, cash collections, insurance, and/or pre-certification, or 3 years of directly related hospital experience
- Ability to type a minimum of 35 WPM
- Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
- CPAR and CHAA certification preferred
