Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Service Authorization Clinical Reviewer.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical expertise and support to staff, management, and customers in healthcare accounts
• Review medical documentation and ensure compliance with clinical criteria and policies
• Assist in cost containment by making determinations on medically necessary and appropriate behavioral health services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• Minimum of two (2) years of Medicaid or healthcare payor/auditing experience preferred
• Active LCSW, LMFT, or LPC license required (Alaska license preferred)
• Ability to make service authorization determinations for medical necessity
• Strong analytical skills
