Job Summary
A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Clinical Liaison.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison for external groups and providers regarding clinical information and assess member clinical records related to behavioral health
- Partner with staff and departments on provider education and outreach, identifying gaps and developing educational efforts
- Implement procedures for tracking operational issues and collaborate to improve quality and satisfaction for staff, providers, and members
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Behavioral Health, or a graduate from an accredited school of nursing
- 4-6 years of related experience in behavioral health outpatient care in a community setting or independent practice
- Experience with assessment of treatment plans for mental health and substance abuse
- Experience in managed care, case management, utilization management, or quality improvement
- Relevant state licensure as a clinical social worker, mental health counselor, professional counselor, marital and family therapist, or registered nurse
