Associate Director of Scientific Communications

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Director, Scientific Communications and Publications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead author or reviewer for complex scientific communication projects, including manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations
• Drive the development and delivery of scientific publications in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with publication standards and lead publication strategy planning and execution

Required Qualifications

• Advanced degree (PhD, PharmD, MD, or equivalent) in life sciences, pharmacy, medicine, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of medical writing experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• Proven success in leading publication initiatives, ideally in nephrology and/or immunology
• Deep understanding of scientific publication standards and regulatory requirements
• Proficiency with publication planning tools and strong project management skills
