Audit Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Audit Manager to lead a team of auditing professionals and ensure high-quality audit processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of performance auditing professionals and review their work products for quality and compliance
• Design and oversee audit plans and procedures in accordance with Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS)
• Provide technical expertise in federal rail transportation and performance audits while advising on significant developments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; accounting degree preferred
• Minimum 4 years of accounting, auditing, or related technical experience
• Experience in federal performance audits and management/leadership roles
• Project management experience
• Knowledge of Government Accountability Office's (GAO's) Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) preferred
