A company is looking for a Patient Advocate (Call Center) - Bilingual Spanish.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage 60-80 incoming and outgoing patient calls daily regarding medical bills
- Utilize the Cedar platform to address patient inquiries via chats, phone calls, and outbound campaigns
- Lead the payment posting process and follow up on defaulted payments, including insurance and third-party follow-ups
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of customer service experience in a call center environment
- 1-2 years of experience in medical billing, insurance, or related healthcare fields
- Experience with electronic medical record systems (e.g., Athena, eClinicalWorks, Epic)
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Ability to work remotely in a quiet and private space
