Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Quality Assurance Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality assurance reviews of peer review reports and ensure compliance with client instructions and regulatory standards
- Verify that clinical citations are current and reputable, and ensure the professional appearance of reports
- Assist in resolving customer complaints and provide insights on consultant quality and compliance
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; minimum of two years clinical or related field experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and laboratory values
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and general computer operations
- Ability to type at least 40 words per minute
- Knowledge of the insurance industry, particularly in claims management
