Collections Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Collections Representative to manage an assigned portfolio and collect payments on past due accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned portfolio of customer accounts and make daily collection calls on past due accounts
• Compile placements and bankruptcies for collection agencies, ensuring proper documentation and approvals
• Monitor and resolve disputes on short-paid invoices and facilitate timely follow-up on payment due

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• 1+ years of billing and/or collections experience in the medical/healthcare industry
• 2+ years of customer service experience in an office or call center setting
• Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel for basic document creation and data handling
