Job Summary
A company is looking for a Compliance Officer responsible for managing corporate compliance programs and ensuring legal adherence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws
- Develop and maintain HR compliance programs and policies
- Conduct audits and advise leadership on regulatory changes affecting employee relations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 5+ years of in-house corporate compliance experience
- 3+ years of HR compliance experience with knowledge of California and New York state employment laws
- Professional certifications such as CCEP or CRCM are preferred
- Must be based in the Eastern Time Zone (ET)
