Job Summary
A company is looking for a Specialty Testing Customer Service Support Representative, Billing (REMOTE).
Key Responsibilities
- Handle high call volume, averaging ~75 calls per day from patients and healthcare providers
- Assist clients and patients with inquiries related to insurance coverage, billing, and payment options
- Document conversations and maintain accurate records in the billing system while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree with 1+ year of relevant experience or High School diploma/GED with 3+ years of relevant experience
- Prior healthcare experience, especially in medical billing and collections, is strongly preferred
- Ability to interpret insurance explanation of benefits (EOB) is preferred
- Experience with Medicare/Medicaid billing and knowledge of CPT and ICD10 codes is preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
