IBM API Gateway Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an IBM API Gateway Automation & Confluent Kafka Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Automate API deployment and lifecycle using IBM API Connect CLI and scripts
• Design and build real-time data pipelines using Confluent Kafka
• Deploy Kafka and API Gateway services in containerized/Kubernetes environments

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in integration or platform engineering roles
• 2+ years automating IBM API Connect and/or DataPower Gateway deployments
• Strong experience with Confluent Kafka, including connectors and streaming tools
• Programming/scripting experience in Python, Java, or Node.js
• Experience with Ansible, Helm, or Terraform for infrastructure as code
