Key Responsibilities
- Manage member services calls related to policy management, benefits, and claims inquiries
- Process billing, update member information, and handle policy terminations and reinstatements
- Provide accurate information on coverage plans and assist with claims status updates and inquiries
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in claims examination, health insurance, or customer service
- Proven experience in customer service related to claims processing or billing
- Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare terminology, including ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding
- Must pass a criminal background check
