A company is looking for a Pre Service- Auth Insurance Verification Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage authorizations, insurance, and referrals for ambulatory providers
- Verify insurance information, manage referrals, and monitor pre-authorizations
- Collaborate with clinical teams and insurance representatives to resolve authorization issues
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of post high school business or college coursework preferred
- Two (2) years of pre-authorization or referral coordinator experience, or equivalent insurance experience
- Graduate of a health vocational program with one year of healthcare experience preferred
- Medical Terminology proficiency by examination
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a customer service role
