Lead Space Systems Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead US Space Systems Architect.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the definition of new space systems and missions, conducting system trade studies and performance analyses
• Support US Business Development and Sales efforts, driving technical solutions for government and commercial customers
• Build and maintain relationships with government agencies and aerospace industry leaders, leading technical proposals for bids

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
• 8+ years of experience in space systems architecture, systems engineering, or space systems development
• Broad knowledge across spacecraft sub-systems and the space systems lifecycle
• Knowledge of US contracting processes, including NASA and DoD procurement
• Experience with technical proposals for aerospace programs
