Job Summary
A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Liaison I.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for borrowers throughout the loss mitigation process
- Handle inbound and outbound calls to assist delinquent mortgage loan borrowers and document interactions
- Communicate loss mitigation options, foreclosure processes, and maintain compliance with regulations
Required Qualifications
- A combined 4 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 1 year in collections or customer service
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
- Excellent customer service skills
- Knowledge of investor's waterfall and required documents for loss mitigation
