Medicaid Billing Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medicaid Billing Representative to manage claims submitted to Medicaid.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on claims that are pending, denied, or incorrectly paid by Medicaid carriers
• Review and address issues causing claims to be put on hold
• Provide necessary information to Medicaid for claim processing and handle follow-ups

Required Qualifications

• Strong computer skills with a basic understanding of MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Minimum typing speed of 40 wpm
• Ability to handle large volumes of work and meet tight deadlines
• Experience in a monitored performance environment is helpful
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively
