A company is looking for a ROI Medical Records Specialist - Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Process release of information requests accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Perform quality checks on work to maintain confidentiality and proper invoicing
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and orderly work area
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (GED) required
- A minimum of 2 years prior experience in a medical records department or similar setting preferred
- Strong computer software experience, particularly with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to type 50 wpm and use office equipment such as fax, copier, and scanning machines
- Self-motivated team player with proven customer satisfaction skills
