Missouri Licensed Senior Auditing Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Auditing Specialist (Non-Exempt).

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct timely audits of medical record documentation to identify inaccuracies in coding
• Prepare reports of findings and provide education and training recommendations to providers and coders
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and collaborate with various departments on coding practices

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• At least 5 years of coding-related experience with proficiency in ICD-10-CM coding
• Certification/Registration: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-P, COC, CPMA, CIC, CRC, or CIRCC
• Minimum 3 years of inpatient and/or outpatient auditing experience preferred
• A.S. or B.S. from an accredited Health Information Technology or Management program preferred
