Operations Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Operations Technician in the Business Group.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the Transport/Ethernet Network, opening trouble tickets and working with field operations for repairs
• Analyze network events to identify critical issues and maintain high network reliability
• Provide Tier I/II support and assist in restoration activities during outages

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent education and relevant experience
• 3+ years of related experience in telecommunications or a similar role
• Customer-facing experience in an Operations Technician or Service Assurance role
• Extensive knowledge of TDM and IP-based voice and data services
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with teams
