Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Account Representative to provide timely and accurate account resolution on business assigned by clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Communicate with relevant parties for prompt account resolution
- Accurately document accounts and audit assigned work for timely resolution
- Identify trends during the follow-up process and inform the Team Supervisor of any issues affecting collections
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year experience in EPIC, preferably on the PB side
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
- At least two to four years of experience with hospital and provider/professional billing, AR collections, and follow-up
- Ability to navigate payor portals and knowledge of third-party payers and contracts
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and system applications
