Job Summary
A company is looking for a Patient Account Manager to lead compliance efforts related to the No Surprises Act and oversee vendor performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and coordinate payer performance, particularly with BCBS, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding accounts
- Track and evaluate outcomes of BCBS claim resolution processes, identifying trends and supporting corrective actions
- Serve as the liaison between the hospital's revenue cycle team and BCBS representatives, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in medical billing or healthcare collections analysis, preferably with BCBS or commercial payers
- Understanding of hospital revenue cycle operations and insurance claims workflows
- Proficient in using billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) and Microsoft Excel
